What is Ortho-K?
Ortho-K, short for orthokeratology, is a non-surgical vision correction option using specially designed contact lenses that are worn overnight. The lenses gently reshape the front surface of the eye while your child sleeps.
The next morning, the lenses are removed. For many patients, this allows clear vision during the day without glasses or daytime contacts.
Great for active kids
Ortho-K can be especially helpful for kids who play sports, dance, swim, ski, or simply do not love wearing glasses all day.
No daytime contacts
Since the lenses are worn while sleeping, many patients do not need to wear glasses or soft contacts during the day.
